Leopard

Happy Monday everyone!
Well another week has began and that means that Vancouver Fashion Week will begin tomorrow. How exciting is that? I have got tickets for Wednesday so just a few more days.
Now to the outfit... I found this leopard dress a few month ago at H&M and I have totally forgot about it. As I was digging through my closet I rediscovered it and knew I had to wear it in my next post. I tried to keep it simple and decided on adding a black belt and gold pumps. This is just what the doctor ordered for this gloomy weather.

Just One Of Those Days

My Mom was digging through her wardrobe and found this vintage Italian bag that she doesnt wear any more so I just had to have it. I love the cream leather and the size is just right.
As I put on this outfit I knew that this bag would go perfect with it. I feel as if this peace could go with any outfit so its going to stay in my wardrobe for quite a while.
As you can tell from my Burberry umbrella that its still raining in Vancouver but I just had to take some pictures outside no matter what the lighting was. I dont think it turned out too bad No?

Mother's Skirt

Yesterday the weather was just insane. The wind was so strong that it opened the entrance door, at my work, open all day long. You can imagine that it was just impossible to take any pictures outdoors.
When I opened my drapes this morning it was as if that crazy weather never happened. I guess thats Vancouver for you. You just never know what you are going to get.

Now the outfit. This is the sort of cloths I have to wear to work since I work in a business environment. I have to say that I am really lucky with my boss. He lets us wear business as well as more fashionable outfits since we work next to Holt Renfrew.

This skirt I got made in Ukraine two years ago. I was going through my grandmother's wardrobe and found this amazing material. She told me that my mother had a skirt made out of it when she was my age and i fell in love with the design of it. You can't see it in the pictures but the slit in the back has three black buttons on it which I have never seen on a skirt. I hope you can see why I had to have one too.

Orange is in the Air

I am getting really exited because Vancouver Fashion Week is almost here and they Finally posted the schedule.
Im trying to figure out what to wear and having a hard time deciding on the perfect outfit.
As you can see that do to the weather I am forced to take pictures inside and am hopping that this gloomy, rainy Vancouver weather would soon pass and I will have a chance to get some outdoor pictures with proper lighting.
Do to the weather my spirits are a bit low  so I wanted to raise them with a pop of color.

The minute I saw this skirt I knew I had to have it. The color is amazing and I love the "bell " shape.

Hope you like it as much as I do.

CHLOES

I know its been a while since I posted a new post but I was finding it difficult to find the time or someone that was able to take a few pictures of me. And now I have YAY!!!

So the minute I saw these Chloes I fell in love and new that I had to get them. I wanted to wear them with boyfriend jeans but I am having a difficult time of finding a pair that I love. Because of this I had them for about a month and never worn them so decided to wear them with a skirt. I really like the end product. What do you think?

So its that time of the year again and Paris Fashion Week is upon us. So far I'm in LOVE with Balmain, Carven, and Nina Ricci. Balmain just blew my mind with structured pieces that I want in my closet. The eye for detail was impeccable and the colour was stunning. This season Carven surprised me with the historical prints. What I loved the most was that the pieces were simple with amazing shapes and with the prints made the collection a wow factor for me. The flowy pieces for Nina Ricci are just so me. They are so romantic and with the colours  were a bit gothic and reminded me of late 19th and early 20th centuries.

I wish I was in Paris right now for the Fashion Week. Maybe next year. At least I have the Vancouver Fashion Week to look forward to which is happening really soon.
